Thank you for your service… #MaltaFreeportTerminals CEO Alex Montebello expressed the company’s heartfelt gratitude during a special event to a loyal group of employees who have just completed 25 years of exceptional service at the Freeport, whose hard work and dedication have been a key part of our success. The occasion also coincided with another significant milestone for the company this year – 20 years since privatisation – during which the Freeport has made great strides forward thanks to a strategic programme of investment in its management and employees who have always sought to transform challenges into opportunities. Malta Freeport Terminals firmly believes that ongoing investment is key to sustainable growth. Since privatisation in 2004, we have invested over 400 million euros in infrastructure, equipment and digitalisation to create a more efficient, flexible and sustainable container terminal which is already capable of handling the world’s largest container ships.
