Hands on… Two teams of dedicated volunteers from #MaltaFreeportTerminals lent their helping hands to the Franciscan Friars’ soup kitchen in Valletta, which offers meals, bathroom facilities and access to healthcare and social workers to materially deprived people. To take part in this initiative, our colleagues wore specially printed T-Shirts emblazoned with the slogan ‘Stronger Together – Hands-on’. The experience proved to be positive and rewarding for everyone while fostering a sense of unity and fulfillment. It also reflects our ongoing commitment to social responsibility and making a positive impact within the community.

Run by Fr Marcellino Micallef, the Soup Kitchen was recently awarded the European Citizen’s Prize, an annual prize awarded to projects that make outstanding contributions to the promotion of common values and fundamental rights. A big thank you to all the volunteers who took part and made a difference!
