To further enhance their skills and capabilities, #MaltaFreeportTerminals has acquired a state-of-the-art crane simulator from industry leader GlobalSim. This advanced system replicates real-life situations as the similar shows real quay and yard equipment in sight, sound, and motion. The simulator has also made it possible for us to provide in-house training for new recruits and experienced operators on quay cranes and rubber-tyred gantry cranes. By reconstructing real-life operational conditions without exposure to on-site risks, the simulator enhances technical proficiency and supports continuous learning and operational excellence across the Freeport. Which in turn elevates our facility to the highest levels of excellence and performance.
