Safety matters… #MaltaFreeportTerminals management and supervisors are taking part in a top-level Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) training programme, leading by example as courses will follow for the rest of the workforce. IOSH training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to identify and manage health and safety risks in the workplace. A number of areas were covered, including risk assessment, hazard identification, emergency procedures, and legal compliance. Promoting a health and safety culture within the workplace is an integral part of creating a safer working environment.
