
#MaltaFreeportTerminals is delighted to support a brand new joint Master’s degree in Port Management and Logistics (MIPMAL), starting in September. A consortium of five European universities – University of Cadiz (Spain) which is the Coordinating institution, University of Malta (Malta), University of Split (Croatia), University of Gdansk (Poland) and University of Algarve (Portugal), have partnered to provide a comprehensive two-year, full-time course focused on the maritime sector. The wide-ranging topics include operations, terminal design and construction, cargo handling technology, logistics, and port law and digitalisation. Students in the first cohort will spend their first year on the campus of the University of Cadiz, followed by one semester at the University of Malta, and then a final semester elsewhere working on their project or dissertation. Students will also be offered the possibility of internship. Micro-credentials will also possible: so, anyone with the required qualification may register for a unit of five credits, which will be taught and assessed intensively over a period of just two weeks.
