Malta Freeport Terminals has officially been awarded ISO 45001 which is the highest standard to operate an integrated Health & Safety and Environmental Management System that conforms with, and is certified to international standards. This shows the Freeport’s ongoing commitment to following the highest standard in this area. This system, which replaces OHSAS 18001 and follows a migration process that started in July 2019, makes it easier to implement and integrate to a management system, giving increased value for users.
