The human touch… Our colleagues at MaltaFreeportTerminals once again rolled up their sleeves to support the work of the Soup Kitchen OFM Valletta, a well-known community initiative founded by Fr Marcellino Micallef that provides daily meals and assistance to people experiencing hardship and social exclusion.
Our colleagues spent time assisting with the soup kitchen’s daily operations, helping behind the scenes and serving those who rely on its services.
For many, it is far more than a place to eat. It is a source of support, dignity and hope. While the tasks themselves were important, it was the opportunity to connect with people and contribute to such a meaningful cause that left the greatest impression.
Initiatives like these remind us that strong communities are built through empathy, generosity and a willingness to help others. They also reinforce the importance of supporting organisations that work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
We are proud of our employees for once again stepping forward to give their time and support, and we thank the dedicated team at the Soup Kitchen for the invaluable work they carry out every day.
