Malta Freeport terminals continues to strengthen its commitment to the community through its support for Hospice Malta, marked by a recent donation made by employees in aid of the organisation’s invaluable work.
The donation was presented by Noel Scerri, Chief HR and Risk Officer, together with Ivan Fenech, HR Representative, to Alexia Demicoli, Chief Relations Officer, and Alexandra Cortis, Fundraising Administrative Assistant at Hospice Malta.
During the visit, Freeport employees were given the opportunity to tour Hospice Malta’s facilities and gain a deeper understanding of the comprehensive palliative care services offered to patients and their families. They also visited the 16 in-patient rooms that provide patients with comfort, specialised care, and a supportive environment tailored to their needs.
Hospice Malta provides comprehensive palliative care and support to patients and their families, offering professional, compassionate services both in the community and within its specialised in-patient complex in Santa Venera.
The Freeport also collaborated with our employees and contractors – with the enthusiastic participation of students and educators from Birżebbuġa Primary School – to organise a battery collection initiative, which also supported Hospice Malta s fundraising efforts. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, from our teams and contractors to the young students at Birżebbuġa Primary School.
We remain dedicated to supporting initiatives that create a meaningful impact within the community and are honoured to stand alongside Hospice Malta and contribute to their mission of delivering compassionate care and support to individuals and families during challenging times.
