Malta Freeport Terminals is proud to once again support the vital work of Puttinu Cares with a donation that will go directly towards helping children and families who need to travel abroad for cancer treatment. This donation was made possible through a series of internal cooking initiatives held throughout the year, thanks to the dedication of our team. A special thank you goes to Roderick Agius and Werner Vassallo for leading the way, with strong backing from colleagues across the Freeport. Our CEO, Alex Montebello, made presented the donation cheque on behalf of everyone at the Freeport who took part in the fundraising effort. We’re also grateful to team members from Malta Freeport Corporation, CMA CGM Malta, Evos, Medserv, and Customs, whose generosity contributed to the final amount, which was topped by our management.
Puttinu Cares continues to make a real difference in the lives of Maltese families at a challenging time in their life. In addition to the 20 apartments near the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, Puttinu is currently refurbishing a newly-acquired property near Great Ormond Street Hospital in London’s Russell Square. Once complete, it will offer 29 more units for families needing support while undergoing treatment abroad.
We are proud to stand with Puttinu Cares and remain committed to doing our part to support the community.
