Citizen movement… #MaltaFreeportTerminals is proud to once again support the free transport service offered by the Birzebbuga Local Council to elderly residents who attend the village Day Centre. Birzebbuga mayor Scott Camilleri said the service, which had to be suspended as a result of the covid pandemic, proved to be extremely popular with residents following its launch in 2018. Mr Camilleri thanked the Freeport for its support and said initiatives of this nature encouraged the elderly to lead more active lives as well as participating in the community.
