We recognise that some of our colleagues may be facing difficult moments without those around them ever knowing. Sometimes, a simple conversation can make more of a difference than we may ever know.
On World Suicide Prevention Day, we are reminded that caring for each other goes beyond physical safety. It also means being attentive to those around us, taking the time to ask how someone is doing, listening without judgement and being there when it matters.
As part of this commitment, #MaltaFreeportTerminals has teamed up with Richmond Foundation to provide our employees with confidential emotional support services and therapy sessions delivered by trained professionals.
We want to continue building a workplace where people feel supported, where no one feels they have to struggle in silence, and where reaching out for help is met with understanding and compassion.
Most importantly, let’s remember to look out for one another.
