Wind in their sails … Congratulations from all of us at #MaltaFreeportTerminals to the talented Maltese sailors who took part in the latest edition of the Yachting Malta BSC Regatta. Hosted by Birzebbugia Sailing Club Freeport and supported by the Malta Sailing Federation and Yachting Malta, the Regatta, now in its fourth year, hosted around 100 sailors from nine nations, including Slovenia, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Japan, Germany, Tajikistan, Lithuania, Turkey, and Malta. Maltese sailors showcased consistency throughout, dominating the leaderboards in five out of six classes.

Malta’s Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research, and Innovation, Clifton Grima, was also present to preside over the presentation of four GPS Buoys and four RHIBs to Birzebbugia Sailing Club Freeport, Malta Young Sailors Club, Royal Malta Yacht Club, and Vikings Sailing Club thanks to SportMalta through NDSF Funds for the Games of the Small States of Europe in June 2023. The Freeport is a proud supporter of the Birzebbugia Sailing Club Freeport.
